Summertime with family lives abroad

Thanks to the dynamic expansion of airline industry, tickets for plane are the cheapest in history. It is good news for businessmen, tourists, and families, living thousands of kilometers. In present, people from one section of continent can meet family at the other part of it, convenient, low-price and fast. For example, flight from Rome to Krakow last 2,5 hours, an by bus it will be two day journey. Here is a story of Grazyna, 45 years old, divorced women from Rzeszow, which daughter lives in Milan.My daughter, Kamila, was every time the smartest girl in school. She have no difficulties with graduated to college, and after one year, she took part in exchange academic program in Italy. She move to Milan, initially for one year, but she met a man there, so she stayed and finish her college there. Last summer, I went to spend vacations in Kamila's house, and I was about to meet her boyfriend and his family. I was charmed by this city. After stressful flight (first in my live), Kamila took my for the trip around old town. It was very important moment, I felt like I am finally became part of European Union, not only some random house wife from Rzeszow.

I was living there for one month, my daughter was working in some company, but she took two weeks of, and took me to the tour along seaside. It was spectacular. We were driving her car trough highway, situated at the hill, with beautiful view over the sea (here). We spend a day in Rome, next one in Florence, couple on Sicily and Naples. I was visiting art galleries and museums, eating delicious pastas and pizzas, walking down the old parts of those ancient cities, it was very great experience. Also, I very loved boat cruise to Sicily Island, it was very charming. Last week of my holiday I spend in Milan, bonding with Kamila and her fiancé.



This summer, my (future) son in law (solicitor Poland) , visited me in Rzeszow. He was really excited to see Poland, cause he never been here before. Giuseppe, cause that is his name and Kamila were staying here for two and a half weeks. First few days was for adjustment, my daughter introduced Giuseppe to her friends, they have been at few parties. Also, we showed him old district of Rzeszow, and all of it attractions. He also said, that my home city is prettier then Milan . Then we stayed for one week in Bieszczady, my favorite place in the world. Undeterred of my age, I am really active traveler, every summer I spend one week with my rucksack and tent, connect with nature. This time was similar, my guest proved to be true nature enthusiast, and it was not a problem for him to sleep in a hogan, as i was worried about earlier. We were climbing at the hills, swimming in the river, and had a picnic in the woods. After we return to Rzeszow, next day Giuseppe flew back to Milan, and my daughter stayed at home for another week.

World are getting shorter, voyage, that before took couple days, now is done in less then two hours. If there was no small airline companies, Mrs Grazyna wouldn't be able to visit her daughter much often. But nowadays, she just have to buy ticket, show on time at airport in Rzeszow, and after couple hours, she is in Milan talking to her daughter. It is really positive side of airline connections.
